STREnGth_M (2023-2026)
STREnGth_M is a three-year Horizon Europe project uniting 23 partners from 10 EU Member States and beyond!
Preceded by FOSTER-ROAD (2013-2016), FUTURE-RADAR (2017-2020), and FUTURE-HORIZON (2021-2023), STREnGth_M (Stimulating road Transport Research in Europe and around the Globe for sustainable Mobility) aims to contribute to the planning of research and innovation in Europe by:
- Defining future research priorities in road transport
- Updating and supporting the coordination of strategic research agendas and roadmaps in the sector
- Enabling ongoing collaboration between Horizon Europe road transport partnerships and platforms
- Identifying barriers to the uptake of research outcomes at both European and international levels
- Assessing the viability of innovative solutions for emerging and future markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America
STREnGth_M’s work will help reinforce connections between European, national, and regional programmes, bolster support structures for international cooperation task forces, and—crucially—promote the role of road transport in achieving the goals of the European Green Deal and the Paris Agreement.
